This is a highly desirable vent figure which was carved and built by Ken Spencer. He is 5' tall and walks. This figure is desirable because he was hand carved and hand build by Ken Spencer. He is a walking figure. Most of the Spencer walking figures are small but this one is 5' tall.

I purchased him in the early 70's from an old man in Florida who said he used him in vaudeville. I have no provenance. At the time I was young and didn't care about the history. I was going to fix him up and resell him. I was told that a college student had repainted him. I was sent two photos which were taken at a distance so I could not see the paint. When I got him, he was not repainted. The college student had slopped some pink paint on the face and quit. I repainted him to match my Coats figure. The wig is what came with him.

The walking mechanism is extremely unique and when he walks it looks natural.
